Buccal Delivery Strips
Buccal absorption is one of the most efficient and medically effective drug-delivery systems available today. TruMedica Strips deliver active ingredients through the highly vascularized tissue inside the cheek and roof of the mouth — bypassing the digestive tract entirely and avoiding hepatic first-pass metabolism. The result is rapid onset, higher bioavailability, and predictable blood levels.
Unlike troches, lozenges, and oral capsules that must pass through the digestive system — causing enzyme degradation, inconsistent absorption (often only 5–20%), and common GI side effects — buccal strips avoid all of that. There's no saliva dilution, no messy crumble or melt, and no 20–30 minute dissolve time. Strips dissolve within minutes with 99%+ dissolution, delivering the fastest and most efficient drug delivery outside of IV therapy without needles, pain, or medical oversight.
The underlying science relies on nanocrystal dispersion that dramatically increases surface area for absorption, mucoadhesive polymer technology that ensures consistent absorption, and precision-dosed micro-layering that guarantees accurate delivery every time. TruMedica strips can carry sub-10mg to 500+mg capacity, accommodating virtually any formula. Every strip is individually foil-packaged, room-temperature stable, and travel-friendly.
Zero Needles
Higher patient compliance with completely painless dosing. No risk of injection-site reactions (pain, bruising, nodules, necrosis).
2-5 Min Onset
Buccal absorption begins in minutes — faster than subcutaneous injections. Rapid systemic delivery.
No Refrigeration
Room-temperature stable with longer shelf life. Perfect for travel — no cold chain required.
Stable Dosing
No peaks or troughs from depot injections — consistent therapeutic levels throughout the day.
~91-93% Bioavailability
Bypasses hepatic first-pass metabolism and GI enzyme degradation. Proven in double-blind PK study.
99%+ Dissolution
Nanocrystal dispersion and mucoadhesive polymer technology ensure near-complete absorption.
No Sterility Concerns
No sharps disposal, no injection training, no sterile prep. Simplifies clinical workflow entirely.
TruRelease™
Patent-pending permeation enhancer — 2x faster absorption proven in randomized, double-blind PK study.

Pharmacokinetic Study
TruMedica commissioned a randomized, double-blind comparison study evaluating its patent-pending TruRelease™ absorption technology in oral thin film (buccal strip) delivering reduced glutathione. The study enrolled 20 subjects split into two groups of 10, each receiving a different strip formulation. All subjects were baselined over 4 weeks prior to dosing. On dosing day, subjects fasted and had serial whole-blood glutathione levels drawn at 0, 10, 30, 60, 120, and 240 minutes post-administration.
Both formulations demonstrated that glutathione — and by extension other peptides — can be effectively absorbed through the oral mucosa, achieving 91-93% absorption rates. The critical difference: TruRelease™ (Strip A), which includes proprietary penetration enhancers, reached peak blood concentration (Tmax) at just 23 minutes, versus 59 minutes for the control strip (Strip B). That's roughly 2x faster speed to onset, validating buccal strip delivery as the fastest and most efficient drug delivery outside of IV therapy.
TruRelease™ — 2x Faster Absorption
Both strips absorbed 91-93% of glutathione. But TruRelease reached peak concentration in half the time — a clinically meaningful difference for patient experience and therapeutic onset.
Study Design
Double-blind, randomized comparison. 20 subjects (10 per group), baselined over 4 weeks, dosed in controlled setting with fasting instructions. Blood draws at 0, 10, 30, 60, 120, and 240 minutes. All analysis performed on serial whole-blood glutathione levels.
Key Finding
TruRelease technology with proprietary penetration enhancers provides roughly 2x faster speed to onset compared to standard buccal strips. Both formulations proved that peptides can be effectively and consistently absorbed via the oral mucosa at rates rivaling injection.
Clinical Implication
Validates buccal strip delivery as a high-bioavailability alternative to injections and oral capsules for peptide therapy. TruRelease offers the fastest onset outside of IV delivery — a compelling value proposition for partners looking to modernize their delivery modality.

351(a) Exosome Therapy
In a landscape saturated with unverified "361" tissue products, DynaCord™ stands apart. DynaCord has successfully secured FDA Investigational New Drug (IND) clearance under the rigorous Section 351(a) biologics pathway — making it the only 351(a)-classified exosome product in the world. This represents a fundamental shift from "tissue" to "drug," meeting strict standards for safety, purity, and potency that 361 tissue products cannot.
The FDA has repeatedly stated that exosomes are 351(a) Biological Drugs, not simple tissues. "IND Cleared" is not a marketing term — it is a validation of transparency and safety data. The FDA holds DynaCord's Master File (DMF) containing proprietary Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) data. Pre-clinical safety data has been reviewed and accepted by FDA pharmacologists, a hurdle most tissue products cannot clear.
DynaCord exosomes are derived from Wharton's Jelly-derived human Umbilical Cord Mesenchymal Stem Cells (hUC-MSCs) — offering a youthful biological profile that avoids the cellular aging and senescence of adult donors, high proliferative capacity essential for manufacturing reproducible therapeutics, and what is widely considered the most potent source for regenerative signaling molecules.
Exosomes are small, extracellular vesicles generated through endocytosis that play a crucial role in intercellular communication. They act as messengers, transporting bioactive cargo — mRNA, miRNA, cytokines, growth factors, and structural proteins — from donor cells to recipient cells, where the cargo modulates gene expression and signaling pathways, coordinating activities like immune response and tissue repair. Because DynaCord's exosomes are derived from hUC-MSCs, the cargo is inherently more bioactive than that of older tissue sources.
Why 351(a) Changes Everything
Participating in an FDA-cleared IND trial is currently one of the few compliant pathways to offer exosome therapy in the United States. Physicians can utilize DynaCord knowing the product is operating under an approved government protocol — providing patient safety, consistency of effect, and legal insulation for providers.
Not Minimally Manipulated
Unlike 361 tissue grafts, DynaCord is a characteristically defined, highly potent signaling therapeutic — not random debris, but specific vesicles released to maintain tissue homeostasis.
FDA Master File Verified
The FDA holds DynaCord's proprietary Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) data. Pre-clinical safety data has passed scrutiny by FDA pharmacologists. Full transparency.
Legal Insulation
Participating in an FDA-cleared IND trial is one of the few compliant pathways to offer exosome therapy in the US. Providers operate under a legitimate investigation framework.
Superior Potency
Derived from Wharton's Jelly hUC-MSCs — youthful profile, high proliferative capacity. The cargo is inherently more bioactive than that of older tissue sources.
Drug-Level Manufacturing
Produced in cGMP ISO-5 cleanroom facilities. Advanced isolation techniques ensure high concentrations. Defined particle counts, protein concentrations. Testing for sterility, endotoxins, and mycoplasma.
Paracrine Signaling
Exosomes travel through extracellular fluid, are internalized by recipient cells via endocytosis or membrane fusion, and deliver their highly bioactive molecular cargo to reprogram cell behavior.
